Wyoming
Lifelong Learning Association Offers $250 for Logo Contest
What’s in a logo? Ask IBM, Holiday Inn, Samsung, Google, or Starbucks.
They have all changed their logo.
At the 2009 State meeting of Wyoming Lifelong Learning Association
(WLLA), the general membership voted
in favor of changing its logo that was designed many years ago. The
Wyoming Lifelong Learning Association is
the one organization in the state for those involved in lifelong
learning. The association brings together a diverse
array of people and enables one to be exposed to a variety of resources
via the networking process among the
membership.
A contest to create a new logo representing the mission statement of
WLLA begins November 1 and will end
December 31. Everyone interested is invited to submit their logo idea.
The board members will vote on all
submissions; the winner will be announced January 15 and will receive
$250.
The logo to be replaced, mission statement, and application to submit
the new logo are on the WLLA website,
http://www.wylla.org . All submissions must be sent as an e-mail
attachment. For further information, contact
Patty Pedersen at
ppedersen@cchec.org or 307-328-9204.
